I really don't enjoy writing reviews for books I dislike but, in honor of being fair with my honest opinions, I feel like I have to write something about this one. My criticism for this book lies mainly with the story; my complaint being, that I felt there really was not one. This book basically consisted of a bunch of descriptive sex scenes between various characters in the book and I'd say 70% of the time, those characters are uncomfortable or don't want to be doing what they are doing. It was I really don't enjoy writing reviews for books I dislike but, in honor of being fair with my honest opinions, I feel like I have to write something about this one. My criticism for this book lies mainly with the story; my complaint being, that I felt there really was not one. This book basically consisted of a bunch of descriptive sex scenes between various characters in the book and I'd say 70% of the time, those characters are uncomfortable or don't want to be doing what they are doing. It was reminiscent to me in content of some of the latter Anita Blake Novels I've read where Anita is being 'forced' to do things she doesn't want to do. Perhaps this is appealing to some readers and I do think an author should write whatever they want to read but, as for me, it just doesn't sit well with my psyche. My other issue with this book was that I did not like the picture of subjugation that it portrayed. I didn't feel it was honest and to me it made submission synonymous with force, begging and weakness. It took something that is supposed to be consensual and beautiful and turned it into something ugly. I also had some issues with the writing;typographical and editing errors aside, I felt that the dialogue came off, for lack of a better word, 'stiff' at times. In ways, it felt more like I was reading a script for a very particular kind of film rather than a book.

The app used to work for me real well on my Windows 10 phone, and previous Windows version phones. Today I wanted to use the app and it presented the registration page like I was a new user. I entered my email address and password for Amazon that it requests. And it says that one of them is wrong. I went to Amazon and verified that they worked fine going directly to Amazon. I went back to the Kindle Reader app and it's still telling me that it doesn't recognize one or the other so I'm deleting it. It's been obvious ever since the Kindle Fire came out that Amazon favors other platforms over Windows. This app is evidence in that regard - it is barely functional enough to be called a reading app. I have all but stopped using Amazon since they refuse to offer comparable experience to iOS and Android on the Windows platform. No audio features like on iOS, many other settings missing. On another note, Amazon also does not offer an Instant Video app like on other platforms, with ability to download and view videos later. Complete Goosebumps Collection containing all 62 original Goosebumps books in MOBI, Kindle Format.-Goosebumps is a series of children's horror fiction novels written. Captivating, spooky mysteries can pack an emotional wallop. Read Common Sense Media's Goosebumps Series review, age rating, and parents guide. Parents need to know that 's Goosebumps series lives up its name. These well-written, spooky mysteries assume the paranormal is normal, that parents eat dinner guests, or kids turn into lizard-faced creepers. That premise aside, these books reflect the reality of young readers' worlds: They go visit relatives, or are bullied at school, or fight with a sibling or parent, or feel misunderstood, and the writing can pack an emotional hit. The kids in these fast-paced horror stories are in real danger -- from, for example, monsters trying to take over the world, or murderous ghost children trying to create more playmates in the afterlife -- and sensitive readers could take that danger to heart. Each book is a standalone story in the GOOSEBUMPS series. Kids who are minding their own business find themselves stalking a mutant librarian, or hiding from a possessed parent intent on killing them, or coming face to face with ghosts, or any number of other terrifying paranormal situations. The kids have to find a way to stay alive and solve whatever problem they face alone, since the adults in their world are either unaware, unapproachable, or possessed. Issues are resolved at the end of each story, but not always wrapped up neatly, which only adds to the suspense. These stories will captivate any reader who likes suspense, horror and fantasy. Goosebumps doesn't have much academic content or positive messaging, although the kids usually try to do the right thing while solving a mystery. But the books are creative, rich examples of how to write a captivating story. Readers who are learning to be writers can see how to hook a reader, how to pace a story, and how to have fun with the writing. The books are written the way kids this age think and speak, and have an age-appropriate amount of tension and violence -- just remember, they're designed to scare. • Before you stream any Disney Content, carefully read this EULA. As in all hospitals, the medical hierarchy of The House of God was a pyramid - a lot at the bottom and one at the top.Put another way it was like an ice-cream cone.you had to lick your way up! Roy Basch, the 'red-hot' Rhodes Scholar, thought differently - but then he hadn't met Hyper Hooper, out to win the most post-mortems of the year award, nor Molly, the nurse with the crash helmet. He hadn't even met any of the Gomers ('Get Out of My Emergency Room!' ), the no-hopers who wanted to die but who were worth more alive! By turns heartbreaking, hilarious, and utterly human, The House of God is a mesmerizing and provocative novel about Roy Basch and five of his fellow interns at the most renowned teaching hospital in the country. Struggling with grueling hours and sudden life-and-death responsibilities, Basch and his colleagues, under the leadership of their rule-breaking senior resident known only as the Fat Man, must learn not only how to be fine doctors but, eventually, good human beings. A phenomenon ever since it was published, The House of God was the first unvarnished, unglorified, and uncensored portrait of what training to become a doctor is truly like, in all its terror, exhaustion and black comedy. With more than two million copies sold worldwide, it has been hailed as one of the most important medical novels ever written. The first edition of Basic Econometrics was published thirty years ago. Here are five sites for buying ebooks in Malaysia. 5 Ebook Stores Available in Malaysia. Ebook readers. Barnes & Noble Nook ebook Reader in Malaysia! Actually i was googling trying to find a shop in malaysia which i can find nook ebook reader, so. Jan 28, 2010 I live in Malaysia and currently ebook readers are not sold here. (the only ebook reader in Malaysian market is Hanlin). Last Sunday's Starmag - at last! The device in question is called, and is produced by China-based Tianjin Jinke Electronics. (Pictured on the left in the hands of MPH's Rodney Toh.) It will most probably be followed by models from companies such as Samsung, Toshiba and Asus (and Sony? A rather odd omission from the list.). Hanlin was chosen, apparently. Because of its flexibility: it can read a wide range of files, including the new eBook industry standard, Adobe ePub, as well as PDF and text files. This means it can download eBooks from different online stores, not just MPH’s. (This is important to me, since much of what I need to read are unpublished manuscripts which are expensive and time consuming to print off, and impossible to read comfortably on present computer screens.) MPH plans to sell 200,000 eBooks of current titles in the first half of this year through its online bookstore One particularly interesting point made in the article is that mphonline is in a great position to promote Malaysian literature overseas. Donald Kee says: There are a lot of Asian authors that are underrepresented, such as Malaysian, Singapore and Thai authors. We want to become a platform to showcase these writers to rest of the world. The device is reviewed in next Sunday's edition, so we'll see how it measures up. But, one wonders, is it already too late for the eBook reader? Looks impressive and can do so much more. I wouldn't recommend the iPad as an eReader for the same reason as imaginarylands: it doesn't have the eInk tech which makes reading so easy and the 'backlight' feature actually lowers the quality significantly. Check it out in person, if you can. Make sure you like how it feels in your hands. I tested out my Sony before buying it and turns out I did well - the device is awesome. It's good to see eReaders getting around the globe. Hopefully there will soon be a homegrown eReader in my neck of the woods. I am a Malaysian and have never owned an eBook reader before but would love one. I read a lot of novels and a bit of travel guidebooks. What I see as the main reason to get the eBook reader is for when I travel. It would be good to not have to lug along a few books each time. I have been deliberating between Kindle and Sony (Hanlin despite being sold locally by MPH, but being a Chinese product and not as cute as a Sony, so I am trying to avoid buying it from MPH). I will highly likely be visiting US sometimes in Aug-Sept. Or else, my friend will definitely be going for 3 months. So there is no issue getting it from there. I think I am leaning towards Sony since it is so complicated being a Malaysian getting Kindle and Amazon’s eBooks here. But I did read this very informative forum on how to go about using Kindle here Another reason I am leaning more towards Sony is I also read that Kindle’s screen is pretty fragile. Plus, I can’t use Kindle’s wireless connectivity in Malaysia. I am leaning towards PRS-300. The only thing I feel Sony loses out to Kindle is when it comes to the availability of the eBooks. Then again it is so difficult to buy eBooks from Amazon for Malaysia. Even though for now it seems we have found ways around the loophole but who knows what other ways will Amazon find to stop their eBooks being sold here? Also, I am not that well versed intech issues! I have some questions for any Malaysians out there that have been using eBook readers, especially a Sony ebook reader like PRS-300. Question 1 Sony book store is not extensive but we can also buy eBooks from Google Book. When I checked Google Book it says that we can purchase from stores like Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble.com, Borders, etc. Publicly tracked torrent index “ebook/book” categories.
